Previously Sony it’s been told there will be a feature Backward Compatibility on PS5 which means di next-gen On this console, we will be able to play the games on the previous console. Reported through a post on reddit, the page that was previously on the official website PS5 in Iceland originally stated that the next-gen console would allow its players to “play some games” PS4“which is supported by updating the system”, but that sentence has been removed.

Maybe it’s possible Sony will use the same approach as Microsoft to play games legacy titles on its newest console, and will continue to add game titles that will be supported for Backward Compatibility every certain period of time whether it’s once a month or how depends Sony later.
