Bungie and Riot Games Unite to Sue Cheat Provider, GatorCheats

GatorCheats is being sued by both developers.

Playing cheating in competitive online games using cheat software is indeed very disturbing for many players. The pretext of “wanting to have fun” by harming other players who also have the same rights seems to be allowed to use them. This anxiety is also felt by the developers who are increasingly tired of fixing their anti-cheat security holes along with the number of cases that occur. If this is the case, the only way is to legally sue the provider directly.

If it is generally publishers with good economic conditions who make demands, this time Bungie and Riot Games developers are doing it. They are suing cheat provider GatorCheats, which has made tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars from selling its cheats.

According to a Polygon report, GatorCheats sells cheating software on the Internet Destiny 2 and Valorant. Cheats Valorant priced at $90 per month, $250 per quarter, or $500 forever. Temporary Destiny 2 priced at $100 per three months and $200 forever.

Cheats Valorant designed to inject menus in the game via a third-party “server” from GatorCheats. He can bypass the Vanguard anti-cheat made by Riot Games though.

The claim states that the cheat they are selling is Gatorant (for ). Valorant) and Destiny 2 Cheats allow players to auto-aim, wallhack, and provide other information.

This is not the first time the developers have sued GatorCheats, before they were sued by Bungie and promised not to sell cheats to new customers and only provide support to those who have bought them. But they seem to be selling it again behind the scenes.

GatorCheats is being sued under copyright law by paying unspecified damages, discontinuing creation, and closing all sales of cheats including their access to anyone. Lawyers for both developers also demanded that they send all software and financial reports to him.

Of course, this lawsuit will be processed for several months until a decision is finally made.
