Cyberpunk 2077 Refund Apparently Doesn't Work With Sony and Microsoft

The Polish developer and publisher later apologized and promised to improve the game with several updates that will be implemented at the end of December to February 2021. They also offer refunds for players who don’t like the game. Both PC and console versions.

However, who would have thought that the refund offer did not work well for console owners. This is because CD Projekt RED does not cooperate with Sony and Microsoft.

Some people on social media and forums like ResetEra admit that they can’t get a refund Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Even after CD Projekt RED told fans to contact Microsoft and Sony.

The players who were rejected by Sony said that the refusal was due to PlayStation Store rules which said that once the game has been downloaded, they cannot get a refund at all. Unless there is an “error” in the game.

Although in reality there are many bugs and errors that occur in the PlayStation 4 version Cyberpunk 2077, some of Sony’s customer service statements posted saying that they don’t want to refund.

In other words, Sony seems to be forcing players to wait for the latest patch from CD Projekt RED until next year even though in reality, the Polish developer has stated that it is licensed for a refund. This also happened to Xbox One users who tried to do it to Microsoft.

The refund rules that are quite strange, especially on Sony’s side, are one reason to think carefully about buying the digital and physical versions. Making Steam’s refund rules much better than the Japanese company.

On the other hand, some console players managed to make a refund despite various problems that occurred to those who failed to do so.

Cyberpunk 2077 now it can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can read our full review on the PC version to find out what the game looks like before you decide to buy it.
