DICE Awards 2020 Announce Game of the Year Candidates Without Sekiro in It

It is undeniable that 2019 was a very colorful year for the gaming industry. One of the reasons is because of the many ambitious titles that were present that year. To appreciate it, there are many award events that are ready to award trophies of pride to “deserved” game candidates.

After last December, one of the biggest award events in the game industry – The Game Awards was held, now the 2020 DICE Awards will be giving its appreciation. But uniquely, unlike The Game Awards, the biggest award “Game of The Year” has a slightly different list of nominations. Previously, here are the full nominations:

It can be seen that the name Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was not included in the candidate for the Game of the Year winner. Of course, this feels quite different from The Game Awards which included Sekiro’s name and even crowned him as the winner of the Game of the Year title.
