PS5 Pre-Order in Indonesia Begins to Open, Use the "Gacha" System

Sony’s latest generation (next-gen) console, namely the PlayStation 5, is said to be available on January 22, 2021. However, even so, the pre-order faucet of the next-gen console will start running on December 18th.

To place an order (pre-order) PS5, consumers can do it through outlets that have collaborated with Sony.

What’s unique is that, during this pre-order period, Sony implemented a raffle system to place an order for the PS 5.

Prospective customers will buy a ticket which will be drawn in a draw, where the lucky winners can place an order for Sony’s next-gen console.

In Indonesia, the retailers that use this system are PlayStation Enterprise (PSe) and Multi Game. They cooperate with one of the E-commerce in Indonesia, namely Shope.

Reported through the official E-commerce account, prospective buyers can purchase tickets on Wednesday, December 16 to Friday, December 17, 2020.

Later, every user has the opportunity to buy 2 tickets for each console, namely for PS 5 Standard edition and PS 5 Digital edition.

The announcement of the winner of the lottery will be held on December 19 via e-commerce notification at 12.00 WIB. Furthermore, at 13.00 WIB on the same day, the winners can pre-order PS5.

Not only Multi Game and PSe, another retailer, namely GS Shop, has also placed raffle orders through its official website.

For the price itself, in Indonesia the PS5 Standard Edition is sold at a price of Rp. 8.8 million. While the PS5 Digital Edition is sold at a price of Rp. 7.3 million.

After placing an order, this game console will ship starting on January 22, 2021. Because it uses a lottery system, this PS 5 unit will be available in limited quantities.
