Eivor Gender Change in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Can Be Done Via Inventory Menu

Unlike Assassin’s Creed Odyssey where your choice of character at the start of playing is final and cannot be changed, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla allows you to change the gender of the protagonist Eivor anytime, anywhere. But the question is how to change from the male version of Eivor to the female version and vice versa?

According to a clip sent by Twitter user AccessTheAnimus, you can change the gender of Eivor through the inventory menu where there will be an option. DNA Stream which is where you can swap versions of Eivor.

There is no difference in the strength of each version and aspects of the story will not be affected from this option but according to the developer, this freedom of choice of gender has been labeled as canon in the main story of Assassin’s Creed and a new feature added by the Animus.

More or less, this feature is the same as in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate where players can swap between Jacob and Evie, but the big difference is that they are two different individuals, while Eivor is one character. However, the character replacement system is more or less the same in outline.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release on November 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Next-gen versions will follow when PS5 and Xbox Series X are available.
