Cyberpunk 2077 Shares Free Exclusive Content For Steam and GOG Gamers
Sharing extra content on games with great anticipation is nothing new. Previously, Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers presented Spider-Man as an exclusive character for the PlayStation 4. Now, CD Projekt Red seems to be taking a similar approach to their most anticipated game – Cyberpunk 2077. Interestingly, the move to share content for free is only valid on the PC platform only.

The Steam version will reward players with a short story titled “2AM – She Calls” that will take the perspective of an ex-cop named Frank, who is now a taxi driver and runs his night shift in Night City. 2AM – She Calls is written directly by Cyberpunk 2077’s main storyteller, Tomasz Marchewka. In addition, there are also some additional content such as avatars, posters and exclusive wallpapers.
Meanwhile, players who buy Cyberpunk 2077 on GOG Galaxy will get a 50-sheet digital comic titled Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams. The exclusive comic was written by CDPR’s narrative manager – Bartosz Sztybor and will most likely be available in a downloadable PDF format. Please note that these comics are different and unrelated to the comics from Dark Horse entitled Trauma Team and Where’s Johnny?.
So far there has been no news about free exclusive content on other platforms such as PS4, Xbox One and Stadia. However, it is possible that CDPR will provide related information ahead of its release.
Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to launch on December 10, 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions still in development.
