Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is Free, Only Gacha Weapons Pay

Gacha weapons are more profitable than selling the game.

This was revealed by Tetsuya Nomura during an interview with the Japanese game website Famitsu that Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will be a completely free game. They will provide gacha for weapons and costumes that were not in the original game as income.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will more or less summarize all the game chapters. Nomura explained that the game would summarize the original series into 10 chapters by citing that chapter 3 players had left Midgar.

The game will also have an original story that will tell how Final Fantasy VII: First Soldier appears that is 30 years before the main story Final Fantasy VII and tell how they found SOLDIER. “In other words, players will see legendary heroes, younger versions of Shinra executives, and characters that will appear in Remake“, he added.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is said to have a dungeon that is a mixture of all its spin-off series. Nomura says that the music is also specially designed for the game although it basically adheres to the same thing as the original series.

When asked about the visual appearance, Nomura explained that he wanted to combine all the series into one unified visual display.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis planned to be released in 2022 on Android and iOS. Unfortunately, there is no clarity on when the official release date will be.
