According to the recently updated policy by PlayStation lately, customers can later request a refund for purchases ordered online pre order until the day the game releases on the condition that “provided you haven’t started downloading and streaming the game.” After the game’s release date, customers can still request a refund with time maximum “until 14 days after payment is taken for purchase pre order, as long as you haven’t started downloading or streaming content to your console device,” Sony said.

Customers can request a refund by changing to another product or purchase item, including games different (of course the same price), additional downloadable content, themes, avatars, and season passes for some games, within 14 days. “If you start downloading and streaming purchased content, then sorry you are not entitled to a refund unless there is a content error, “said Sony. even though Sony has not provided clear and complete information regarding what “wrong” is meant.
