Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory Announces Release Date

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, a unique rhythm-based game whose music itself is taken from the soundtrack of the entire series so far has finally announced its official release date. The announcement coincided with the Nintendo Direct Mini event held yesterday. Through its new trailer, Square Enix also provides an overview of the gameplay and what content will be presented in this game later.

What’s interesting about Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is that in addition to presenting a unique gameplay where players are required to press the button to adjust to the existing rhythm in order to get the highest score, players are also presented with various iconic cutscenes from the previous Kingdom Hearts series which can later be unlocked so that gamers can unlock it. Nintendo Switch who have never played it can at least get an idea of the storyline of the Kingdom Hearts series so far.

In this game, there are more than 140 music from the entire series that we can enjoy and master. We will also be able to play this game solo, local co-op or online multiplayer with other players around the world. Players are required to defeat strong enemies as well as various bosses with perfect scores in order to reach the top rank.

There are three different difficulty levels that we can set in this game, so players who might just want to enjoy the Kingdom Hearts music variant with a rhythm that is not too complex can also enjoy this game.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is scheduled to be released first for the Japanese market on November 11, 2020, while the western version will follow on November 13, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
