God of War Director Admits Can't Wait to Play Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed is known for its variety of place settings that are always different in each series, after the success of the Greek setting in the previous series, the next series titled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will invite players to take on the role of a viking in a Scandinavian setting.

Due to the viking theme of the game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was immediately compared by fans to the 2018 PS4 game – God of War. Although with some similar elements that the two games may have due to the same theme and setting, the director of God of War, Cory Barlog, expressed his support for the Ubisoft game that involved the 15 studios.

Through Twitter, Barlog continues to share his reaction to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla after the first trailer was released. He revealed that Norse mythology can indeed provide unlimited creative ideas and he can’t wait to see the direction Ubisoft takes on these themes and settings.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla hasn’t got a definite release date yet, but the game is certain to be released for PC, PS4, Xbox One and also 2 next-gen consoles namely PS5 and Xbox Series X.
