Konami Denied, This Horror Artist Was Invited To The Silent Hill Special Event

So, what is the meaning of this Konami secret event?

Not yet finished about Bloody Roar whose trademark was just updated a few days ago, and previously denied the existence of the new Silent Hills project. Now there is another piece of information that might (if you are not tired) give hope again about the new game Silent Hills as well as dismiss the objections that were issued yesterday.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Because this leak is not info from “insiders” or rumors here and there but from a Japanese horror artist named Suehiro Maruo who some time ago uploaded a photo on his Instagram Story showing that he was being invited to a special event or we can mention secrets about Silent Hills. Luckily one of the members of the ResetEra forum managed to take the screenshot first.

There are two stories shared by Maruo, namely the first photo which shows a sign that says “Silent Hills” and the Japanese word Katakana is the same below it, as well as the caption “Afternoon invitation, I hope you will join“. While the second story shows the entrance board from Konami’s headquarters in the Tokyo Midtown area.

Who is this Suehiro Maruo? He is a horror illustrator who has often made horror and gore illustrations for comics, art, jackets, etc. And this is the second time that Konami or Silent Hills has invited a horror artist after Junji Ito when it was still being worked on by Kojima and then canceled. And he was mysteriously invited to come to Konami’s headquarters with an invitation titled Silent Hills, is it possible that the Silent Hill project is actually starting to work again?

Too early, perhaps is the most appropriate word to conclude about this incident. Because it’s possible that the Silent Hills game is still in the early stages of brewing, and Maruo was invited as one of the candidates who might later lead to which style if this game was made.

Or maybe it could even mean that Konami wants to bring the Silent Hill franchise to another medium, comics or animation for example. And of course we better lower our expectations as low as possible because we know that Konami always plays very safe for all of its products.
