Tencent is reportedly suing an unnamed tech company in China for publishing Tencent games to its cloud gaming service without permission. Tencent is seeking damages of more than 9.6 million RMB (Chinese currency) or about $1.35 billion.

Tencent accused the Guangzhou-based company of making Guangzhou-based League of Legends, CrossFire, and Dungeon Fighter Online available via cloud gaming, alleging unfair competition with Tencent’s own Tencent Start and a partnership with WeGame to make its games available on the cloud. Publishing without permission is certainly a major offense.

Therefore, this is truly a pity. Moreover, they publish without a permit with very large losses. It is hoped that this problem can be resolved by both parties well, and that there will be no more problems like this in the future.
