More Quiet, Players Ranked League of Legends Indonesia At the Beginning of Season 9 Only 1000 Left

League of Legends or often abbreviated as LoL itself has been published since 2009. However, it only entered the Indonesian server through Garena at the end of 2013. In its sixth year on the Indonesian server, League of Legends is increasingly being abandoned by its players. Even though on other Southeast Asian servers, League of Legends is still in demand by PC MOBA players.

The beginning of season 9 has started since the end of last January. The total number of Indonesian League of Legends players who have played ranked matches is only 1,300 so far. Of course that’s a drastic drop from the biggest MOBA game in the world. The data taken is from the op.gg website where the recorded players are those who played their ranked and have got their tier. In Indonesia, there are still many players who play League of Legends in normal matches or unranked without opening their tier rank.

Many old players have retired from playing LoL due to the lack of events provided by Garena. And the emergence of MOBA Mobile which is much more salable in Indonesia is also a major factor in the lack of League of Legends players in Indonesia.

We’ll see if Garena will give a new breakthrough so that League of Legends players in Indonesia are busy again. Or has League of Legends officially become dead game in Indonesia. So, where will the remaining Indonesian servers and players go?
