Cyberpunk 2077 Release Postponed Until September

Many of you certainly hope that 2020 will be a very special year for the video game industry. One of them is of course the release of big games like Final Fantasy VII Remake and The Last of Us Part 2 for example. However, it seems that things are not going as smoothly as we expected.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

After previously The Last of Us Part 2 was reportedly pushed back to May, then Final Fantasy VII Remake which was also pushed back to April, now Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red has also experienced a release date setback, even longer than the previous two games.

This was conveyed directly by the developer through his Twitter account, where the release date of Cyberpunk 2077 which originally fell on April 16, 2020, has now been pushed back 5 months more a day to September 17, 2020.

The developer explained that the game itself is finished and can be played, but the reason for the delay for several months is because they want to polish it further, so Cyberpunk 2077 which does have a large and complex game scale can be perfect when it releases.

This might make you wonder why Cyberpunk 2077 and the two other big games mentioned earlier have had their release dates pushed back. Even though all of the reasons are the same, namely to be polished further, it is possible that these developers are also preparing these games for the next generation console version which will also be released later this year.

Cyberpunk 2077 now release date 17 September 2020 for platforms PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
