Multiplayer Watch Dogs Legion Launches Next Month

Not releasing a multiplayer mode because of being chased by tight deadlines is an unnatural thing if this happened a few years ago. But over the last few years, it’s been quite forgivable. Especially if the game that is being worked on is very focused on single player content. A thing that also happened to Watch Dogs: Legion.

Released towards the end of 2020, Watch Dogs: Legion doesn’t get the multiplayer mode at all like the second iteration. Ubisoft promises to release the mode in early 2021 with a variety of interesting games. The good news, we seem to be getting closer to enjoying it soon.

Ubisoft announced that multiplayer mode Watch Dogs: Legion will be released on March 9, 2021.

Multiplayer mode Watch Dogs will reset all progress and have its own play area. Players will be required to build a new DedSec in the game. Instead of recruiting NPCs via loyalty missions, players will be able to buy them through Influence points which can be earned via solo activities to daily and weekly challenges.

Unfortunately, Influence Points will also be used to upgrade weapons and equipment. In other words, players must use it wisely before wasting it in vain to find the best NPC.

Players can take on co-op missions with two to four players that will take them to Tactical Ops when everyone is ready to enjoy the endgame content with three to four players.

Tactical Ops will give prizes depending on the coordination and cooperation between players. For example, providing challenges such as hacking the same two points, or passing drones that cannot be hacked. Players can coordinate with the voice chat feature.

Other modes such as Spiderbot Arena where players will battle their spiderbots with power-ups and killstreaks will also be added as another option in the multiplayer mode. Watch Dogs: Legion.
