Not Only One, Tencent and PUBG Corp Announce Two Official PUBG Mobile Games at Once

Tencent and PUBG Corp. prepare two mobile games at once.

After previously Tencent announced that they and PUBG Corp would make an official mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), now they finally show how the gameplay of the game through their newest trailer.

Mobile game trailer PUBG title PUBG: Army Assault below shows a lot of things that are much more interesting than the PC game. Some gameplay such as chasing using speedboats, battles in the ocean, to battles in the air makes this game look much more exciting than the PC version.

The game above is done by Timi Studios Group, a studio owned by Tencent Games which contains six development teams. Some of his games you may already recognize, one of them is Honor of Kings or Arena of Valor. Mentioned that PUBG: Army Assault also done by Bluehole developers using Unreal Engine 4.

Along with the announcement, Tencent and PUBG Corp. also announced that apparently they were not only making one mobile game, but two games at once.

The second game is titled PUBG: Thrilling Battlefield This is done by Lightspeed & Quantum Studios Group owned by Tencent Games. They have made 6 PC online games, 10 web browser games, and 6 mobile games. Making them one of the most experienced mobile game developers in their field.

In response to the announcement of the two mobile games, an official representative of Tencent Games declined to comment on the differences between the two games. But he confirmed that both games are currently still in development and now is not the time to talk about it. He also said that one of the games would be an “official” game and the other would be an “original” game. Tencent promises that the two games will be quality games made using Unreal Engine 4 with no doubt about the visual quality.
