Not Released yet, Blue Protocol Planned to Release for PS5 and Xbox Series X?

Staying silent is a choice that Bandai Namco chose not to discuss further about the anime MMORPG game, Blue Protocol. At least for the last few months. In addition to their plan to release the game on PC when the time comes, it seems Bandai Namco is also preparing the game to visit the next gen console.

This was confirmed via the job vacancy page which has now been deleted and can be checked through the archives. That Bandai Namco Online, the studio currently working on Blue Protocol requires a Technical Artist who has experience with next gen platforms both PS5 and others. Some of the requirements include experience with video game development on PS4 and Xbox One.

With this big project that Bandai Namco Online is currently handling. Looks like it would be very unlikely if they recruited new staff to work on a game that has not been announced at all by Bandai namco Online.

In addition to the announcement, Bandai Namco apparently has also prepared new information for Blue Protocol. Through its Twitter tweet, Bandai Namco announced that the livestream Blue Protocol then it will start on June 18, 2020 at 20:00 Japan time or June 18, 2020 at 18:00 WIB. They will provide new information and their feedback on the feedback given during the closed beta.

Blue Protocol currently only planned to be released on PC and only in Japan with no definite release date. It’s not clear if they will release it alongside the international version or with a one-year lag like other Japanese online games.
