Only 60 thousand, Capcom Gives Big Discounts for Monster Hunter Stories on Android and iOS

Monster Hunter Stories was initially priced at US $ 19.99 or around Rp. 290 thousand, now it is discounted to only US $ 4.99 (in Indonesia itself it is Rp. 68 thousand). Although 3/4 times cheaper, Capcom’s discount for Monster Hunter Stories is certainly not permanent. Interested players can only enjoy discounts until May 9, 2021, both on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

For those who are still unfamiliar, Monster Hunter Stories places players as “riders” instead of “hunters” like most games in the Monster Hunter series. Riders here team up with monsters to complete a goal. Not without different things, Monster Hunter Stories also carries the “Pokemon” element where players can collect various monsters and use them to compete against other monsters.

Combat mechanics that are carried are turn-based like classic JRPG games but with a simple rock, scissors and paper-style system. This is one of the aspects that somewhat distinguishes Monster Hunter Stories from games from the Pokemon series.

In addition to Android and iOS, Monster Hunter Stories is currently also available on the Nintendo 3DS. The sequel – Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is slated to launch on 9 July for Nintendo Switch and PC.
