Pandemic Impact, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course Postponed To 2021
With a captivating atmosphere and visual style inspired by classic cartoons, Cuphead has become one of the most distinct games in recent years. The run and gun genre game is even now available on almost all platforms such as PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. This success prompted Studio MDHR as a developer to develop new DLC, which unfortunately still took a long time before it reached the players’ hands.

Through their official Twitter account, Studio MDHR announced that Cuphead’s newest DLC, The Delicious Last Course, was postponed to 2021. Previously, the DLC was planned to be released in 2019, before finally being pushed back to summer 2020. But now, the final episode of Cuphead is have to wait until next year. Studio MDHR explicitly stated that the COVID-19 pandemic was the main reason for the delay.
Founder Studio MDHR – Chad and Jared Moldenhauer said that the development team was trying to make The Delicious Last Course their best work. And to achieve that high standard, it is very difficult and challenging especially in the midst of an ongoing pandemic like today.
The development team explained that in order to provide the best quality to the DLC, Studio MDHR was reluctantly forced to make a difficult decision. The release delay step was finally taken and The Delicious Last Course will only be released until Studio MDHR is sure that the DLC can live up to player expectations.
The Delicious Last Course itself will add new islands to explore, challenges and new bosses to fight and a new character named Ms. Chalice.
