Don't Want to Lose, League of Legends Creates Their Own Version of Auto Chess Game

If previously Auto Chess confirmed the game would be available for PC and Valve was rumored to be working on Dota Underlords, now it’s RIOT Games’ turn to step in. The developer of the League of Legends game announced that they are working on another auto chess-based game called Teamifght Tactics.

The gameplay of Teamfight Tactics will be almost the same as Auto Chess, but there will be some adjustments that RIOT will make. Reporting from a redditor who has tested the Teamfight Tactics game said that the game from RIOT Games is slightly different from Dota Auto Chess. Teamfight Tactic only has a 7×6 battle arena with 10 bench places.

In addition, they also minimize the existing RNG system and prioritize the strategic skills of the players. Players will fight against each other in order rather than randomly like the Dota 2 version. In addition, there are also differences in the selection of heroes. The system in Teamfight Tactics uses drafts so players take turns choosing their heroes and can counter each other’s tactics. Then for synergies and items it is also simpler and easier to use than Dota Auto Chess.

RIOT Games confirmed that the Teamfight Tactics game will be released in beta on the upcoming 9.13 patch along with the new champion Qiyana, however, players who want to experience the Teamfight Tactics game can take the alpha test on the PBE server which will start on June 19, 2019.

Let’s wait, will the League of Legends version of Auto Chess or Teamfight Tactics be able to compete with the fame of Auto Chess Drodo Studio and Valve’s Dota Underlords later? Or will there be another version of Auto Chess that will also be released in the future? One of the major game developers, Blizzards, is still silent about this.
