Since Guerilla Games created Horizon Zero Dawn and is currently developing a sequel, the Killzone series seems to have been suspended without certainty. But recently, Guerilla opened up about the future of its FPS game series. As if to confirm that the Killzone series is over, the official Killzone website will be deleted and gamers who visit it will be directed to the official PlayStation website.
We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.
Currently, the official Killzone website can still be opened, but at the beginning there will be an immediate message “Killzone.com has been retired” which indicates that the site has or will retire. Below it is continued with a number of explanations from Guerilla, ending with a link to the official PlayStation website.
In his explanation, Guerilla said that gamers will now no longer be able to create or manage clans in Killzone Shadow Fall. However, the online multiplayer mode, player stats and ranking data from Killzone Mercenary and Shadow Fall will still be available. In closing, Guerilla would like to thank all the fans for their enthusiasm and support over the years.
For foreigners, Killzone is one of the best exclusive game series from PlayStation that enjoys traveling on almost all PlayStation consoles from PS2, PSP, PS3 to PS4. With so many older games getting remastered or remakes on the latest consoles, it’s hard to say for sure that the Killzone series is dead.
