Pokemon GO Holds Poll on Twitter to Vote Pokemon for Community Day
Pokemon Go is probably one of the games that adapts very quickly to this Corona Pandemic period. Although known as a game that relies on outdoor gameplay, the development team immediately changed the gameplay so that it can be played at home. No wonder this makes the developer team’s income increase even during the corona period.

According to Eurogamer, two Pokemon are waiting for their next turn for Community Day in Pokémon Go, which will be voted on via a Twitter Poll. Pokémon Go has offered a public vote for the next Community day. The poll will be open this Sunday, May 24 for 24 hours starting at 2am via the Pokemon Go Twitter account.
While Pokemon Go is still in the process of adapting itself to be fully playable indoors, a poll on Twitter has been voted a great choice. The top two with the most polls will be voted for for Community day in June and July, what’s interesting here are the specific choices on offer. Whatever the community’s decision, each option has a different impact. The choices are Weedle, Squirtle, Sandshrew and Gastly.
Weedle, despite being a very weak Pokémon, is the only option here that allows a Shiny version to be available in Pokémon Go. For collectors, this is a pretty obvious first choice.
Squirtle, which is one of the fan-favorite Pokémon, but which was already featured on Community Day in 2018. This option opens the door to repeating more Community day choices in the future. This option also lets you evolve Squirtle to Blastoise with Lucario’s move, Aura Sphere.
Sandshrew, an unusual Pokemon with a nice-looking shiny already available in the game. Sandslash’s evolution will get Shadow Claw. Selecting this option will make Sandshrew Pokémon Community day the first with only one evolution. Meanwhile, Alolan Sandshrew will be available in Raid, which is usually not the focus for Community Day.
Gastly, a popular Pokémon whose shiny version is hard to find, but whose evolution Gengar appears in two raid days where the shiny version is available. Evolving him into Gengar will grant him the Shadow Punch move.
Therefore, this is quite interesting because fans can choose Pokemon that will appear on Community Day which usually changes. It looks like these 4 choices are quite interesting choices for fans. The hope is that this system will continue to be maintained and perhaps increase the number of options for the Pokemon.
