Original Story
Luminous Engine is now more stunning.
The PlayStation future of gaming livestream has finally started, and lots of announcements from the game industry have been made by developers and publishers. And Square-Enix is one of them.
Although they have left Luminous Engine, to work on some of the newest games including Final Fantasy VII Remake. The Japanese developer and publisher seems to still have a new project being worked on for the PS5 using the same engine used to work on it Final Fantasy XV the.
Through a PlayStation livestream, Square-Enix and Luminous Studio announced a PlayStation 5 exclusive game called Project Athia. In the gameplay teaser, it looks like the game will star the main female character with her magical abilities. The color tone and action may already look familiar to you because it uses the same engine as the engine Final Fantasy XV.
As of this writing, Square-Enix is still reluctant to explain what it’s like Project Athia. The trailer description also only describes the game as an action story adventure game which is one of Luminous Studio’s philosophies with fresh gameplay.
However, if you look at the gameplay, which is limited to action and platforming, it is likely that this game will become a JRPG game with a very similar feel to the game Final Fantasy XV.
Project Athia is currently in the works and will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
