Project Athia will be exclusive for PS5 and PC for 2 years
First shown through Sony’s State of Play series of events, Square Enix’s Project Athia was originally thought to be the newest Final Fantasy game. However, since the reveal of Final Fantasy XVI last September, Project Athia has turned out to be a mystery again.

Sony recently released a trailer showing upcoming games for both PS4 and PS5. When Project Athia was shown, the trailer stated that the game was in development for PS5 and available for PC, but won’t be coming to other consoles for at least 24 months or 2 years.
Square Enix itself has not provided clearer details regarding the gameplay offered and the story presented. However, some sources say that Project Athia will come as a game open world Final Fantasy-style RPG. In addition, this game is produced by Luminous Productions, which previously worked on Final Fantasy XV.
It is not clear when Project Athia will be released. However, considering that Square Enix itself also has Final Fantasy XVI and FINal Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, it certainly indicates that Project Athia will not be present in the near future.
