Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages, if you compare them, which console is more appropriate to look at? PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? the following is the discussion.
Specifications & Performance
Talking about the specifications, it is clear that the Xbox One has specifications and performance that is superior to the PS4. Its motto as “The World’s Most Powerful Console” is indeed proven, but even so, the PS4 is also still capable of being fierce in running various games.

Price
One of the reasons why the PlayStation 4 is selling so well in the market is that it is much more affordable than the Xbox One. PS4 Slim is currently in the price range of 4.4 to 5.2 million rupiah, the Pro version is priced at 6.4 to 6.9 million rupiah, while the Xbox One S is priced at 4.9 to 5.5 and the Xbox One X version at a price of 7 to 8 million rupiah. But the good news is that now the price of Xbox One is slowly starting to decline in Indonesia and it feels more affordable.
Continuing on the previous point, it seems fair enough if Microsoft charge a higher price for the Xbox One. Considering that the specifications & performance offered by the Xbox One are superior to the PS4, it is fair to say that we give these two points a balanced score.
Design
Talking about the design, both of them look very elegant, but with the minimalist & solid look that the PS4 has, it seems that Sony is slightly superior through their PS4 variant body console. The special edition console variants provided by the PS4 are also much more diverse and more interesting, for example like Days of Play Edition & Marvel’s Spider-Man Edition which was just released last year. A few more moments Sony & Square Enix will also re-launch a PS4 Pro themed Kingdom Hearts 3 which looks charming.
But when it comes to controllers, it seems that the Xbox One is superior, apart from having a more “sturdy” display. Through the grip, the Xbox One controller feels more comfortable to hold with the right size, the row of buttons provided also feels very snug & accurate on the fingers.
Entertainment System
Keeping up with the times, the console is not only used as a device that is only capable of playing games. But also as other entertainment media, it seems that both PS4 and Xbox One are quite serious about working on this one. both of them have a row of entertainment applications that can be enjoyed, such as Netflix, YouTube, or Spotify for example.
But if we look further, it seems that in this respect the Xbox One comes with much better quality, they still provide a more complete range of applications. Xbox One also has a more organized & elegant user interface, the chat feature with a special avatar that they present also gives a more pleasant impression in interacting with other people, in contrast to the PS4 which is made very minimalist & simple.

In the current era, online services are indeed the most important factor for optimally enjoying content in the current gen console. PS4 has PS Plus as their online membership service, which offers free games every month as well as exclusive discounts. Meanwhile, Xbox One comes with Game Pass which seems to offer a variety of more interesting advantages.
With Xbox Game Pass, you can access backward compatibility and play a variety of Xbox 360 games that have been released. This is one aspect of the majority of gamers determining the choice of console, namely through exclusive games offered by each brand. When it comes to exclusive games, in terms of quality and quantity, PlayStation 4 is far superior to Xbox One, the variety of exclusive games they launch rarely fails.
