PUBG Global Championship Tournament Details Announced!

PUBG Corporation today revealed the full details of the 2019 PUBG Global Championship (PGC), the highlight of the first PUBG Esports season. The PGC will be held over 3 weeks, starting with the Group Stage (Nov. 8-10) and Semifinals (Nov. 15-17) held at the OGN Super Arena in Manhattan Beach, CA. The competition will conclude with the Grand Finals (Nov. 23-24) in Oakland, CA when the best teams meet at the Oakland Arena for a total prize pool of at least $2 Million and a chance to claim the 2019 PUBG Global Champions title.

Starting Nov 5, Players can dress up and celebrate PGC with a wide range of exclusive in-game items, with 25% of sales going to add to the $2 Million PGC prizepool, increasing the stakes and supporting the teams directly. During the Grand Final (Nov. 23-24), the PGC pre-show broadcast will begin at 4:30 PM PST, followed by the official broadcast at 5 PM PST. PUBG Global Championship brings together all the best teams from PUBG Esports League worldwide PUBG Korea League (PKL), PUBG SEA Championship (PSC), North American National PUBG League (NPL), PUBG Europe League (PEL), and Chinese PUBG Champions League ( PCL). The group stage will feature 32 teams, and the bottom 8 teams will be disqualified after 3 days. The semifinals will feature the remaining 24 teams, before the 8 teams will be eliminated. The Grand Finals will see the remaining 16 teams battle it out at the Oakland Arena for 2 days, with 6 matches per day, until one team emerges as the 2019 PUBG Global Champion.
