PUBG Lite can no longer be downloaded, the server will close at the end of April
Appears to accommodate the needs of PC gamers with mediocre specifications who are hungry for trends, PUBG Lite has now recorded 2 years in accompanying his togetherness with them. Unfortunately, this 2 year period will no longer be able to continue in 2021.

Through an important announcement posted on the official homepage of lite.pubg.com, PUBG Lite has officially closed access for new players who want to download. From there, the developer also plans to or will definitely close the light and free-to-play version of the PUBG game server on April 29th.
Previously, last November, PUBG Lite officially turned off the L-Coin (paid Cash) purchase system, making the game completely free.
This decision reportedly emerged through various considerations, including by mentioning the Covid event which is still hitting. Even without specific reasons, the closure of the PUBG Lite server itself will not have a big impact on the sustainability of the premium version of PUBG and PUBG Mobile. Because basically, PUBG Lite was developed by a different team (by Krafton) while running with a separate game client as well.
With PUBG lite closing on April 29, 2021, players who have kept this game for a long time can still play as usual, at least until the closing time arrives. Meanwhile, on May 29, 2021, Krafton just took steps to close the Customer Support service in order to completely close this lite version of the Battle Royale game.
