Rainbow Six: Parasite is the New Title Rainbow Six: Quarantine?

If you follow Ubisoft’s latest game developments taken from Outbreak mode Rainbow Six Siege that is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Quarantine, then you certainly know that Ubisoft will change the title of the game due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately, this change is still not clear at all. But according to a leak, it seems the title Quarantine will be replaced to be simpler according to the plague that appears in the main theme of the game.

Launching MP1st, they found an image on the PlayStation Network. The picture shows Ela who is one of the characters from Rainbow Six Siege which will be present in the game wrapped in a black liquid. On the front is the title Rainbow Six: Parasite supposed to be the new title Quarantine.

MP1st also found pictures of how Rainbow Six: Parasite can be played on PlayStation 4 via remoteplay using PlayStation Vita. The image shows some buttons that will represent the buttons R1, R2, R3, L1, L2, L3, and other conventional buttons. Unfortunately, it is not clear what each function of the button is.

Of course the title change from Quarantine to Parasite quite significant but not far from the theme of a mysterious virus that is like a parasite in the game. However, we’ll have to wait a little longer for Ubisoft to officially confirm the title change even though the leak itself is already very credible.

For those of you who don’t know, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Quarantine is a 3-player co-op game developed by a new team from Ubisoft Montreal. The game is an adaptation of the Outbreak mode that appeared in Rainbow Six: Siege. Of course, players will face several abnormal enemies that originate from viruses that infect the human body.

It is not yet clear whether the gameplay will be exactly the same as the Outbreak mode with various types of monsters such as wizard types, brawlers, and others.
