Release of Kena: Bridge of Spirits Postponed Until 2021

Previously planned for release later this year, Kena: Bridge of Spirits has now been announced to be delayed. Ember Lab explained that the game is now planned for release in the first quarter of 2021.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Just like other games that failed to release this year, Ember Lab explained that the Covid-19 pandemic was the reason for the delay of their first game. Their entire team has currently transitioned to work-from-home which incidentally is not as effective as working directly in the studio.

To achieve the best final result, the developer reluctantly decided to postpone the game’s release, causing this game to fail to be released at the same time as the PS5 launch which is predicted to take place at the end of the year.

Hit: Bridge of Spirits was originally only developed for PS4 and PC, but the fast SSD capabilities and better hardware of the PS5 make it difficult for developers not to develop the next-gen version as well. Developers claim that the SSD of the PS5 is very fast, loading can take only 2 seconds.

In addition to PS5, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will also be released for PS4 and PC via the Epic Games Store.
