Sony Prepares 'PS5 Ready' TV With 8K and 120FPS Resolution

The PS5 release is just around the corner. To welcome it, Sony began to prepare their latest TV with the line ‘Ready for PlayStation®5′. Reporting from the PlayStation blog and the Bravia website, the latest line for the BRAVIA series is a collaboration by Bravia and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE).

The Bavia ZH8 and XH90/92 series will be able to play PS5 games in 4K and 8K resolution with HDR Full Array LED, which is useful for controlling colors on the screen. Full Array LED will make dark areas darker, and bright areas brighter, so you can display colors in great detail. The ZH8 and XH90/92 series also support 120FPS, with an input delay of just 7.2ms. Both TVs will also be able to support 8K resolution through a future firmware update.

This new Bravia line will have BRAVIA Game Mode with ultra low latency, as well as allowing users to turn their PS5 off and on using DualSense. Additionally, the remote will have menu controls for the PS5, which means you’ll be able to control the PS5 menu via this TV remote. The embedded Acoustic Multi-Audio technology will also deliver controlled high audio quality, making for an immersive and dynamic playing experience.

Unfortunately, there is no further information regarding the price and release date. Considering the PS5 will be released at the end of 2020, the Bavia ZH8 and XH90/92 release date should not be far from that.
