Square Enix Lists New Chocobo Racing Series Keberadaan
The name “Chocobo” used to be a figure that fans of the Final Fantasy game series were familiar with. The existence of these cute and exotic flightless birds has always been considered as one of the important mascots for the JRPG franchise made by Square Enix. Even with its function to be ridden by humans like horses, the popularity of the Chocobo has also made it possible to have a version of the video game for itself.

From there too, the existence of the Chocobo Dungeon series is certainly a popular example. However, apart from Chocobo Dungeon, there are also game series Chocobo Racing which is actually no less nostalgic for gamers in the PS1 era.

Reported via page Chizai Watch, Square Enix recently registered a new Chocobo game which they named Chocobo Grand Prix or commonly abbreviated Chocobo GP in both the naming version of the Japanese Alphabet and Kanji. Of course the term seems to be very closely associated with the iconic Chocobo Racing series.
Although there is no additional information that is sufficient to explain the appearance of this new Chocobo racing game, it is certainly quite interesting to wait for what breakthrough Square Enix will try in continuing the Chocobo Racing legacy franchise.
