Star Wars: Squadrons will get its first gameplay at Gamescom 2020

Gamescom 2020 will be a platform to showcase the inaugural gameplay of Star Wars: Squadrons.

The plane game made by Motive Studio or EA Motive did not show specific gameplay when it was announced at the EA Play event. They only provide a few snippets which may still not be the alpha or beta gameplay of the game. But that all changed in this year’s Gamescom event.

Geoff Keighley, who is the producer and host of this year’s Gamescom event, teased fans that at the Opening Night Live Gamescom will present Star Wars: Squadrons. In other words, EA and Motive Studio will most likely show off their gameplay in the near future.

It is also possible that they will showcase ported versions of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at Gamescom 2020. But before anything happens, this will only be a prediction without confirmation.

Star Wars: Squadrons likely to be one of the potential titles from EA after they failed to overcome the series Battlefront with its phenomenal loot box system. Although in the end they were saved by Respawn Entertainment with Jedi: Fallen Order.

Star Wars: Squadrons is scheduled to be released on October 2, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
