The Cat in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Can Be Petted and Carried by Eivor

The opportunity to pet the animal is starting to become memes in today’s gaming industry. Several social media accounts appeared whose contents were confirming whether the latest games support the system “pet” or not, because as we know, if the game doesn’t add this option, the game will instantly become a “dregs” game and must be thrown in the trash. Ubisoft doesn’t seem to want that to happen in one of their big projects this year – Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

Apart from the busy activities of exploring British lands and recruiting new troops, Eivor will also be given some side activities that are not so important in the narrative or progress of your soldiers, but at least provide peace of mind for him. One of them is the option to interact with the cats that roam the game.

From the video released by the official Ubisoft account, Eivor can not only pet the meow, but he can also hold it while stroking it.

This isn’t the first time the Assassin’s Creed series has added an animal petting option. Previously on Origins as well as Odyssey. This is a small feature that doesn’t bring anything to the gameplay, but is appreciated and sought after by many players, especially those who also have pets at home.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will release on November 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will follow when the console becomes available.
