Leyou explained that they are currently working on an exclusive contract with Tencent. Their board members announced that as of July 10, 2020 (before trading hours), they entered into an exclusive partnership with Tencent Mobility Limited which is also one of the potential buyers of their shares.

However, this collaboration does not mean Tencent has won the acquisition. In other words, there is no guarantee whether Leyou will be acquired by Tencent. However Leyou confirmed that their cooperation was still in progress.

For those of you who don’t know, Leyou is a video game company that is the parent of developers Warframes, Digital Extremes, developer Gears Tactics, Splash Damage, Radiance Games, and Kingmaker. They also invested a 20% stake in Certain Affinity, the developer Transformers Online and publisher Athlon Games who are currently collaborating with Amazon Game Studios to work on an MMO Lord of the Rings.
