Delayed, Sony Will Refund Gamers Who Have Pre-Ordered The Last of Us Part 2!
For those of you who follow the development of the game industry, you will know that the game made by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us Part 2, has been postponed again. This time, the reason for the delay itself is due to the emergence of the Corona virus which might hamper the physical version. The Last of Us Part 2 itself is one of the most awaited PlayStation exclusive games this year.
Initially this one game was scheduled to be released on February 21, 2020 to May 29, 2020, until it was finally postponed again until an uncertain schedule. The latest news, Naughty Dog said that they were almost finished working on it, but were hampered by logistical problems due to the Corona virus outbreak.
Sony is making refunds for gamers who have pre-ordered
Responding to this problem and not wanting to disappoint fans, Sony Interactive Entertainment as the publisher offered to refund the game. This they confirmed through their support page which explained that they would offer refunds for the digital version of The Last of Us Part II and one of their VR games, Iron Man VR.
Postponed without a definite schedule
Well, for those of you who have pre-ordered The Last of Us Part 2, you will receive an email from Sony and follow the link they provided to get a refund. Apart from that, they have also pulled the digital version of The Last of Us Part 2 from the PlayStation Store at this time. The Last of Us Part II was originally planned for a February 21 release which was later postponed to May 29, 2020.
