Ryujinx Switch Emulator Now Successfully Runs Astral Chain and Pokemon Sword/Shield
Apart from Yuzu, Ryujinx is also a Nintendo Switch emulator for PC that is still being actively developed. It’s hard to compare which one is better seeing that both have equally great progress and varying performance in certain games. In this update, Ryujinx gets a drastic performance increase, especially on Astra Chain, Pokemon Sword/Shield, Yoshi’s Crafted Island and Super Smash Bros.

Tested by John GodGames through his latest videos, he shows emulation performance using a custom build from Ryujinx. All games are far from perfect and visual glitches are still prone to occur, but seeing Pokemon Sword/Shield and Astral Chain work out is a great progress.
There’s still plenty of room for updates on the two Switch emulators out now. For the time being, for those who want the best Switch experience, playing directly from the console remains a recommendation.
