Toge Productions Trying To Enter The Indonesian Premium Game Market With Collaboration With Players

The Tangerang-based game developer behind the Infectonator game series, Toge Productions, announced their latest & limited initiative to attract Indonesian game consumers that premium game developers find difficult to penetrate. This initiative comes in the form of a release Toge Virgin Bundle 2017, a physical bundle containing the first seven games published by Toge Productions which will be released from August 2017 to April 2018.

Bundles are only limited to 50 copies it contains:

Limited alpha and beta access on Steam for seven games published by Toge Productions, including games that will only be released in 2018. Buyers will get the full version of the game once it is publicly released on Steam. The seven games are:

Infectonator: Survivors from Toge Productions (Tangerang).
MagiCat from the seething cat (Surabaya).
My Lovely Daughter from GameChanger Studio (Tangerang).
Hellbreaker from Tahoe Games (Kediri).
Ultra Space Battle Brawl from Mojiken Studio (Surabaya).
Rage in Peace from Rolling Glory Jam (Bandung).
She and the Light Bearer from Mojiken Studio (Surabaya).
A manual whose content contains an explanation of each game that will be published.

What makes this bundle special is that, although each full version of the game will be sold for a total price of more than IDR 600,000, the bundle containing various bonuses is sold for IDR 350,000.

Speaking of Toge Productions’ decision to release this bundle, Kris Antoni as the CEO explained,

“Toge Virgin Bundle 2017 is a collection of seven games from six Indonesian quality developers whose works are published by Toge Productions. We want to provide an exclusive opportunity for fifty Indonesian gamers to get all of these games before their release and be a part of the development of these products through feedback that players can convey directly to each developer.”

The decision to provide a price that is far below the selling price is expected to be able to help Toge Productions reach the Indonesian premium game market which is difficult to penetrate.

“Despite having a large number of players, the Indonesian game industry is dominated by free games. Even from our previous game that was released on Steam, Infectonator: Survivors, only about one percent of total sales came from Indonesia. Therefore, access and special prices for Indonesian gamers are expected to be a test of interest in buying local gamers for the work of the nation’s children, “
