Ubisoft Delays Watch Dogs Legion Co-Op Mode

Recently, Ubisoft announced that they will have to postpone the co-op mode for Watch Dogs Legion. Initially, the developers wanted to release the mode on March 9, 2021 for PC, but obstacles made them choose this decision.

Furthermore, Ubisoft also explained in detail why they delayed the latest mode for PC users.

Watch Dogs Legion Co-Op Mode Postponed

Through its Twitter account, Ubisoft announced that the PC version of Watch Dogs Legion is experiencing crash when trying Co-Op mode. Interestingly, this problem only occurs with some GPUs. The related team is currently making repairs as soon as possible and will announce it in the near future.

Meanwhile, Co-Op for platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Stadia, which was originally released on March 9, 2021, had to be delayed until March 23, 2021. In addition, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users also received a slight delay in their issue.

Although the Co-Op mode of Watch Dogs Legion is delayed, players can still play the game normally. For now, fans will have to be a little patient before the new feature unlocks. Later, Ubisoft will also update information about these updates in the future.

According to Twitter users Shpeshal Ed, he shared a tweet saying that Legion will be releasing on Xbox Game Pass in the next few days. Previously, he had leaked the presence of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PlayStation Plus in March 2021.

Furthermore, the presence of Watch Dogs Legion on Xbox Game Pass is a pretty interesting move. The reason is, Ubisoft itself has a service called Ubisoft Plus which was released in 2019. However, it seems that the French developer is interested in integrating Ubisoft Plus with Xbox Game Pass. This is similar to what Electronic Arts did with EA Play.

For your information, Ubisoft is one of the few major developers that supports Google Stadia. Reportedly, Google had to pay $ 20 million to be able to bring Assassin’s Creed and The Division to Stadia. Meanwhile, Watch Dogs Legion has no information about a release on the platform.
