Yuzu Nintendo Switch Emulator Now Reduces Ram Usage By Up To 50%

After some time ago the Yuzu emulator developer made great progress by being able to play one of the popular games on Swtich, and now they are providing one of the latest updates where they are able to cut their ram usage drastically by up to 50%.

This they can achieve after they rewrite the code in their VMM or Virtual Memory Manager software. Where previously the Yuzu developer used a simple approach which was also used in the Citra 3ds Emulator.

However, after the new method they used, Yuzu was able to run several games with RAM usage ranging from 2-4 Gigabytes only. It didn’t stop there, Yuzu also shared their benchmark results against games on Nintendo Switch.

In closing, the developer of the Nintendo Switch Yuzu emulator also promises that there will be a new update for this emulator in the near future. We’ll see how this emulator is able to handle games from the console.
