As we previously know, in June 2020 it will be scheduled to be the biggest eSports Mobile Legends event in Southeast Asia. The big event is called MSC 2020 which will bring together the best teams from their respective regions in Southeast Asia.

The teams that have officially qualified for the tournament are RRQ and Evos from the Indonesian region, and Geek Fam, Resurgence from the Malaysia / Singapore region. The rest of the teams from other regions are still fighting over their positions to be able to play in this annual Mobile Legends event.

Meanwhile, the schedule and place for the MSC 2020 implementation is planned to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines on June 10-14 and offline.

However, just like other offline eSports tournaments in 2020, this must be disrupted due to the corona pandemic, which still has no sign of improving. And of course the tournament had to be canceled, postponed, or had to be held online.

Likewise, MSC 2020 is in danger of being postponed or maybe canceled because of this Corona outbreak. Even though there is actually an option to hold this tournament online, this is not possible due to regional differences which is the main problem.

This regional difference has an impact on PING which could have dropped and harmed one of the competing teams so that the match was felt at a fair. And because of the difficult options, Moonton could cancel or postpone this year’s MSC.

Regarding this, Azwin Nugraha as the Public Relations & Communications Manager of Moonton Indonesia has not been able to give a definite answer about the future of MSC 2020 to Esports ID some time ago.

“Currently we are still discussing MSC with management and it will be decided soon,” said Azwin as quoted from Esports.id.
