PUBG in India Will Return With a Collaboration with Microsoft!

PUBG Mobile was banned in India on September 2, 2020, along with 118 other Chinese applications.

In the seven weeks since that decision, there have been a lot of developments going on behind the scenes at PUBG Corporation as a developer, perhaps paving the way for a comeback. PUBG Mobile long-awaited to the country.

But recently there has been a glimmer of hope for the PUBG Mobile esports scene in India to revive again because PUBG Corp has done something.

PUBG Corp stated that they will look into ways to provide their own PUBG experience for India in the near future, indicating that they will set up their own office in the country of India.

After that, on 20 October, PUBG Corporation listed a job opening for ‘Enterprise Development Division Manager – India’.

Last month, it was reported that PUBG Mobile was already owned by Krafton Inc, a company from South Korea.

“With data privacy and security a top priority for Krafton, the company will work closely with Microsoft to ensure the protection of personal data through Azure,” said Krafton in a Press Release.

For those who don’t know, Azure is a cloud service from Microsoft that game makers use to build and run their games on a global scale.

While Krafton is busy dealing with this using cloud service techniques and others, many say that PUBG was banned just because security and ownership belonged to China.

Well, what do you think guys? Could it be that India will participate again in the PUBG game in the country?
