Megaxus Announces The Closing Of Counter Strike Online Indonesia After 8 Years Of Struggle

After almost 8 years of accompanying game lovers throughout Indonesia, the Counter Strike Online game will finally be closed. The news was given directly through the official Counter Strike Indonesia fanpage today, July 3, 2019. With this, the collaboration between Indonesian game publisher Megaxus and the game, which was first released in 2000 through Counter-Strike, ended.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Whereas previously Counter Strike Online had been one of the prima donna FPS games in Indonesia. This game is the toughest competitor of the Point Blank game which is also selling well in Indonesia. However, with the development of this era, many Counter Strike Online players have left the game and opted for another new game.

The possibility of this decision was taken by Megaxus because of the depletion of FPS game fans who now prefer battle royale and MOBA genre games. In addition, the dominance of the mobile game trend is also increasing in Indonesia and is starting to erode PC games. With that, Megaxus Indonesia has closed their two big games during 2019. Previously they also announced closing the service for the game Closers Online last April.

Players can still play the Counter Strike Online game until the end of July. Players who are still playing Counter Strike Online until now will be rewarded by Megaxus. The prizes are in-game items for Ayodance and Fatal Raid.

Now it’s just the Ayodance game which is the big game owned by the Megaxus publisher. It seems that in the future the experienced publisher will focus on developing Mobile games rather than PC, considering that the demand is much higher in this country of Indonesia.
