With judges who come from various media around the world, The Game Awards tries to invite gamers to appreciate various talented developers every year. Of course, with games that are not only fun, but also successfully make players feel at home for long in front of the screen.

The year 2020 has been a dark year not only for life due to COVID-19, but also for the video game industry itself. This makes some game events such as E3 have to be canceled because they are not ready to adapt. But not for The Game Awards.

Different from the previous year, The Game Awards 2020 was held online with the winners attending via video call. Meanwhile, Geoff Keighley, who was assisted by the MC and IGN journalist, brought it as usual through a simple stage.
