From the start, gamers would know that Naughty Dog is the godfather of cinematic narrative gaming. And many gamers certainly expected that their perfect report card would continue in The Last of Us 2, which unfortunately didn’t come to fruition.

It should be noted that the work on the story for The Last of Us 2 was indeed done by a different team from the first series.
