Code 51: Mech Arena is a game that carries a VR approach, where players will fight each other using mecha. Smellyriver as the developer calls this game a “wasteland-style mech arena”.

This game features single-player and multiplayer, where single-player will have a story mode. There will be various types of mecha that players can choose from. Each mecha has its own special ability, which of course is adapted to the playing style of each player.

Now, publisher from China DeerVR just released a new video featuring several mechas fighting each other in action. Through this video we can see several types of mecha that players can use including Ranger who has the ability to track enemies, Loong who has the ability to float on water while issuing unexpected attacks in the form of high-velocity rockets and finally the Eskimo mecha, where is this mecha though? slow but capable of dealing massive damage using his railgun and homing missile.

Code 51: Mech Arena will be released on April 24th for Playstation VR. HTC Vive and Oculus Rift will also get this game but haven’t got a definite release window yet.
