Destiny 2 Developers Prepare New Game With Comedy Elements

Are they also still walking the path of sci-fi games?

Since his separation from Activision, Bungie has successfully presented Destiny 2 to PC via Steam with various updates and new content. But it looks like the former developer of the original series HELLO is currently working on a new game besides the MMORPG game.

This is expressed through the job vacancies they just posted. That they needed an Incubation Art Director. Interestingly, it seems that they will not work on a game that is full of seriousness, but contains anecdotes and hilarious scenes in it. It’s explained in detail in their job description that they need someone who likes to work on comedies with jolly and quirky characters.

Not only working on and building a comedy, Bungie’s Incubation Art Director is also required to be able to design characters that inspire fans to cosplay and represent all cultures in the world. Indicate that they will use an approach like Overwatch rather than having to use the packages that have been implemented in Destiny.

Interestingly, from several job descriptions Bungie wanted the Incubation Art Director to work with the sandbox and economy teams to create and distribute items for players. This description implies that they are likely to make a new MMORPG game inspired by Destiny.

Bungie itself plans to have a franchise other than Destiny until 2025. Their copyright registration in 2018 explains that one of the projects will be titled Matter. Could the project be in progress?
