Genshin Impact Confirms All New Story Chapters and Territories

Since its release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Mobile, the action RPG game Genshin Impact become one of the most interesting phenomena among gamers around the world. Exploration elements and colorful visual displays create a fantasy world that miHoYo presents.

However, there is something that seems to be lacking from a story element to the few who have played it. This is because all the game stories seem incomplete and long to cover the story of Mondstadt and Liyue. Luckily, apparently miHoYo has prepared everything as several updates that will be released periodically.

This includes the existence of new regions to represent existing elements.

Through the latest trailer, miHoYo confirmed that there will be about seven chapters after the story prologue Genshin Impact. Each chapter consists of a new area to explore, complete with new elements and characters that will complete it. Here’s the complete list of chapters and new territories:

  • Prologue: The Outlander Who Caught The Wind – Region: Mondstadt (Anemo/Wind). Character: Diluc
  • Act I: Farewell, Archaic Lord – Region: Liyue (Geo/Earth). Character: Ningguang
  • Act II: Omnipresence Over Mortals – Region: Inazuma (Electro/Lightning). Character: Ayaka Kamisato
  • Act III: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana – Region: Sumeru (Dendro/Wood). Character: Cyno (new)
  • Act IV: Masquerade of the Guilty – Region: Fontaine (Hydro/Air). Characters: Lyney and Lynette (new)
  • Act V: Incandescent Ode of Resurrection – Region: Nathan (Pyro/Fire). Character: Iansan (new)
  • Act VI: Everwinter Without Mercy – Region: Snezhnaya (Cryo/Is). Character: Harbinger Pulcinella (not yet shown in full)
  • Act ??: The Dream Yet to Be Dreamed – Region: Khaen’riah (No elements listed yet). Character: Bough Keeper Dainsleif (new)

Some of the characters above, can already be played in the game. One of them was Diluc and Ningguang. Other characters like Ayaka Kamisato can actually be played during the first closed beta Genshin Impact, but not yet released in version 1.0 of the game. Meanwhile, apart from the three of them, all the characters listed are new characters.

The Japanese version of the trailer is narrated by Kenjiro Tsuda (Kai Chisaki/Overhaul – Boku no Hero Academia, Joker – Enen no Shobotai, Atomic Samurai – One-Punch Man, Seto Kaiba – Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters) who will also voice one of the characters, Bough Keeper Dainsleif, who was announced at the 2020 Tokyo Game Show.

Genshin Impact now it can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, and Mobile. Progress data can be transferred from a PC or Mobile via a miHoYo account, but not for PlayStation 4 because it is locked in a PSN account. While the co-op mode can be played crossplay by all platforms.
