Sony Pictures Announce Ghost of Tsushima Film, Worked by Director John Wick

So do not be surprised if Sony raised a number of games to the big screen. A few months ago, films and TV series from Uncharted and The Last of Us were announced. Now, Sony has again announced that one of its flagship games, Ghost of Tsushima, will be the next game ready to be adapted into a film.

This announcement came from Sony, which a few months ago promised to adapt 3 movies and 7 TV series from a number of PlayStation IPs. It looks like one of the three films is an adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima. The film was first announced via PlayStation . Twitter account where the tweet also announced that the film will be directed by Chad Stahelski who is known as the mastermind behind the John Wick film series.

Through the PlayStation Blog, Nate Fox as Game Director from Ghost of Tshushima stated that director Chad Stahelski was the best choice to bring the action scenes of Jin Sakai’s character to the big screen. Considering Stahelski’s previous works, namely John Wick (2014), John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum where the action scenes from the film received good appreciation from the audience.

Nate Fox also announced that currently the game Ghost of Tsushima has sold 6.5 million copies and almost half of it has been completed to completion. This success is of course thanks to the unique gameplay action and world offerings open world immersive one. So don’t be surprised if Ghost of Tsushima gets a good response from critics and players.
