The preprinted research is now being registered with the local legislature for investigation. This research itself combines the realm of psychological research as well as involving online games.

The research also boldly concludes that paying real money for Loot Boxes does indeed have a damaging effect.
Paying real-world money for loot boxes is linked to gambling related harm, regardless of the features of loot boxes themselves.
Apart from that, the study also added that the more players spend money on loot boxes, the greater their gambling addiction. Even though we claim to have sufficient evidence, we can only wait for the final decision from the Australian Senate regarding this research.
